Welcome yet again to another one of my pages! Now we all know that Perfect Dark is full of sound - Music, Sound FX...Ah yes the delight of a good battle full of sounds from the mixed in gun shots with cool techno music... But one thing that sets Perfect Dark from it's cousin: Golden Eye - is that it has speech! Yes the characters speak (yes, I know... they don't move their lips, but that is not important, after all, it's only the N64 and not the GCN - Game Cube). So, to honor this, I've taken the time to list everything that is said in the game and to list it on my site!
Now I just want to mention, before we start, that there are two types of speech in
Perfect Dark. There is the appointed speech and the random speech. Appointed speech is
what the characters are programmed to say during a certain event. Since they always say
the same thing it might be somewhat boring to you, so I didn't include it here (also it is
really hard to find every single line of text in every single mission...). Random speech
is...well...random speech! The guards will say this and that here and there just to
make for a more realistic feeling (game-wise).
There is a third type which is in Carrington Institute (non-mission): appointed-random
speech. They are programmed to say something like "HI" with choices (Hello,
Hi-ya...) and so forth. I listed the voices of the Carrington Institute at another

It is very hard to list them all. Speeches like "Grenades" are hard to find because they appear only rarely and when they do, the explosion covers up what they say. There are so many misc speeches too!!! Eventually I'll have them all and you can even notify me by e-mailing me! I'll just warn that I'm able to tell if your making it up, so doen't even try.
